RECAP

CJ Beathard threw for 162 yards and a touchdown as Iowa went on the road and got a tough 14-7 win over Rutgers. RB Akrum Wadley grew up 15 minutes from Rutgers, but wasn't recruited by them. He got some personal revenge by scoring the game-winning TD, and rushed for 84 yards. The TD was set up by Brandon Snyder, who forced a fumble and recovery, which gave the Hawkeyes possession near the Rutgers’ 20-yard line. The Hawkeye defense also had a critical goal line stand on 4th down and 1. LeShun Daniels Jr. rushed for 77 yards, and Iowa ended with 193 yards rushing.
