The Hawks struggled in the first half, hitting only 2/12 (16.7%) from three point range, while UMBC was 6/10, and the game was tied at 29. But Iowa responded with a 12-2 to take a 14-point halftime lead. They extended the lead in the 2nd half, leading by as much as 28 points.
